Arman FC held to goalless draw by Aino Mina in Afghanistan Champions League

Arman FC were held to a goalless draw by Aino Mina of Kandahar on Friday in the 22nd match of the sixth season of Afghanistan Champions League at the Afghanistan Football Federation Stadium in Kabul.

Arman FC delivered a strong and disciplined performance throughout the match, enjoying greater control of the ball and creating a number of promising attacking opportunities, but were unable to turn their chances into goals.

From the opening stages of the first half, Arman FC looked composed in possession and sought to put pressure on Aino Mina’s defense. The players combined effectively across the pitch and produced several dangerous attacking moves and attempts on goal.

Despite Arman FC’s positive approach and sustained pressure, Aino Mina’s defense remained compact, preventing Arman from finding the breakthrough before the interval as the first half ended without a goal.

Arman FC maintained their attacking approach after the restart and continued searching for the opening goal. The team pushed forward on several occasions and created further opportunities around the opposition penalty area, but the final touch needed to break the deadlock remained elusive.

The players continued to press for a decisive goal during the closing stages and added time, creating more opportunities and maintaining pressure on the opposition. However, Aino Mina managed to keep their goal intact, and the match eventually ended 0–0.

Arman FC also demonstrated discipline throughout the contest, with none of the club’s players receiving a yellow or red card during the match.

The result gives Arman FC another point as the team continues its campaign in the sixth season of Afghanistan Champions League.

Arman FC will return to action on September 28, when they face Sarsabz Yashlar in their next league fixture.
